I almost can’t believe it has been a year already! Congratulations to this sweet couple today on their first wedding anniversary!
Harriet and Luke wanted a small intimate day on their own for their wedding. They had visited Copenhagen before and thought it was the perfect place to say their vows, and then take a romantic trip to Norway for their honeymoon. We met for coffee in Copenhagen a few months before and it was lovely seeing them again on this special day. They booked an Airbnb apartment for a few days and I was honored to spend their wedding day with them capturing these very special first moments.
I think getting married all on your own, or eloping as they say, is so very romantic. After all getting married is something that really is just about the two people, making a promise to each other and their love for one another. Harriet’s beautiful bouquet and Luke’s boutonniere were made by Cool & Cozy.
After the ceremony, it so happened a film-crew was busy making a documentary of Copenhagen City Hall and they asked Harriet and Luke if they wanted to participate! Clearly spontaneity runs in their veins and they accepted the invite. So this sweet elopement got filmed and Luke and Harriet even became film stars for a day.
