The Momsen Family, a Winter Shoot, Denmark. [Part one]

When deciding on a venue to photograph the Momsen family, I suggested to Anna that I meet them in their family home in Hillerød before heading out to a nearby forest.  Being the nice people they are they just invited my family and I around for lunch.  This meant I could get the perfect picture of their family life with little people.  It reminded me of when I still had a baby and a toddler and I felt somewhat nostalgic about those chaotic and hectic days.

Steve is a chef and the brainchild behind Wooden Spoon, a food company that produces ready made slow cooked food in a jar.  No preservatives only hours of slow cooking.  I have to say since trying the Chicken Tikka Masala in their home, my family and I now have one of their meals once a week.  Pizza night has turned into Wooden Spoon night.  I love that it is healthy food that is simply warmed up on my night off from cooking.  Just add rice and a salad and supper's done.  Happy mommy means happy family right?  They cater for companies but you can also buy their produce from Nemlig.com.  (This is not an add, I just love recommending great things.)

Isn't this family just lovely?  Anna and I used to be in the same lifegroup at church years ago and were pregnant at the same time.  Marcus, the eldest of their children and my youngest, actually share the same birthday.  They were born only hours apart. Kinda funny, right?

I have a well known weakness for babies, but isn't Esben just beyond adorable and gorgeous!

How cool to have a swing in the living room.  They renovated their home themselves and Steve even made some of the furniture.

Stay tuned as I will be sharing Part 2 of this shoot in the forest with this gorgeous family next week.
